Personal Infrastructure

Lately, I've been introspecting about what apps I use daily, outside of a work context, and I was surprised at how few there are. Here's what I came up with:

• Overcast – for podcasts
• Craft – for note-taking
• Super Simple Tasks – a task management app that I'm working on
• Omnom – my bespoke grocery companion app
• Safari for web browsing
• Apple Mail
• 1Password

Of course, I have glancing contact with other apps, but I could live without them. Losing anything on the list above would result in a significant decline in my day-to-day routine. It's also noteworthy that I pay for three, two come bundled with my devices, and I built two for myself because nothing on the market met my needs.

With the amount of technology that surrounds me, I genuinely expected to have more indisposable software in my life.
