Share What You Know

A funny thing happens when I learn something – I assume that everyone else already knows it, and I move on with my day. I'm actively trying to undo that line of thinking and I'm trying to chime in more where I think I can add value.

Yesterday, I had the chance in a professional Slack to lend my expertise to someone with a problem that I knew how to approach. I took a minute to make a suggestion and ended up having a delightful conversation and making a new connection.

Be generous with what you know. It's always worth it.
